	A good "back to basics" day that has opened my eyes to how to gain a greater understanding of constructing a basic website - no one has shown me basic HTML before! 	As a newbie to web design, I was recommended to visit Building Blocks for Beginners site, as I wanted to put up my own site without having to study html, whatever that was. 	Hi Ron, What a learning curve I am on. How did I get to this age knowing so little about modern techie things. I hang my head! I don't think,even now, that you realise just how good the BBs are for beginners. Over the last year, I have paid out good money (too much!) for various programmes that promised to be good for beginners. Lots of people who are not such beginners join up and start using techie language etc, and suddenly the whole tone of the thing is raised to their level, leaving the true beginners floundering, and not getting help with their problems. Do you know what I mean? Your great strength is keeping focused on your original idea, and not allowing anything too complicated to creep in. Anyway, mustn't prattle on........ Here I am with no website, no product, don't know my FTP from my HTML, (I do really!) so I tell you, if I can crack this, anyone can! Take care,      Patricia - 12th October 2007

	For some time now I have had the intention of setting up an online business but, in the past, I found that most of the courses I invested in were way over my head and didn't really show me what to do at all. 	There is a huge amount of mis-information, conflicting advice, tempting 'sure fire' money making programmes etc so easily accessible on the net, most of which, sadly, is worthless, misleading and designed merely for the short term extraction of your hard earned cash. Any inexperienced newcomer coming to the internet with the intention of making of making money by starting an online business is pretty well doomed to disaster right from the start unless they are very lucky. Fortunately, there are just a few genuine 'diamonds' still to be found in the in the field and one of these is Ron Woodham who has written a comprehensive guide to setting up and running your own Internet Business. The series entitled 'Building Blocks for Beginners' assumes that the reader knows absolutely nothing about the subject. Nevertheless, the subject is covered in sufficient depth as to be of valuable use to both the 'beginner' and also the established Internet user. The course has been devised with great care and integrity and offers a rare opportunity for the newcomer to really succeed at setting up their own Online Marketing business for the minimum of cost.
