BELOW is a “Route Map” where I will highlight the list of things you should have as the fundamental basics for creating and building your business. Some of the items will be FREE and some you will need to invest in – if anyone out there thinks that you can REALLY set up and run an Internet Business ‘without’ putting your hand in your pocket I can tell you right now you are NOT going to get very far, very fast. Now don’t run away with the idea that this needs to be a fortune because it does not. I budgeted just £50 when I got under way having already invested a fortune in trying to find out what I ’should’ do. So, yes, only spend what you need to spend at the outset but DO be prepared to spend a ‘little’ bit here and there as your needs for tools and knowledge grows – as assuredly it WILL.

Tool No 1 – KNOWLEDGE is POWER
There is LITTLE doubt that the introduction to this article is not only important, it is “paramount” to your success. However, the BIG problem is that there is so much information out there that the beginner will be swamped with information overload.
WORSE – a log of it will not only waste your time but it will waste your money too! What we ALL need are ‘reliable’ sources from which to develop our growth from. Please do NOT get me wrong, there are some excellent resources out there but in truth, probably the best way to find them is by ‘recommendation’.
NOW – I am not only offering to recommend those that ‘I’ have successfuly used but in some cases were recommended to me, and in others, I found them the hard way – by wasting MY time and money wafting my way through a whole heap of rubbish.
WELL – here in my book is your Number ONE & TWO resource centres for a couple of very good reasons:
1. I have been using them frequently, one for the past THREE years, and know the owner them both very well indeed having met them now on many occasions – point one – they ARE accessible.
2. These two ‘Forums’, though being subscription forums, are not only a source of masses of information in the form of FREE articles and software programmes they are both ‘resources’ where WHEN you ask a question you GET and answer !! Apart from the owners there are a number of very ‘helpful’ memberin the latter case a small team of experts – who all talk ‘beginners speak’.
A FINAL point I have to make is that over the past year I have run two seminars for beginners – I now have the privaledge of running a two weekly LIVE Webinar via these resources now and it is FREE to registered members. So not only do you have the above plus’s but you have the benefit of being to listen as I SHOW you how to do the basic things that the beginner seldom gets shown.

AutoResponders
There only ONE autoresponder in my book and it is this one. Easy to use and comes with excellent Tutorial Videos and potentially the bext back up and support you could hope for. There is a monthly subscription but it is NOT expensive, especially for the range of facilities that are provided including automated messaging, broadcasts, a choice of templates if you want to give your messages a professional appearance. Plus a range of pop-ups etc., There is an alternative for the beginner who is on a tight budget – details will be found below.
The “alternative solution” for those on a tight budget at the outset.
This is a simple no nonsense autoresponder. Created by a friend of mine (who happens to have a Masters Degree in computer technology) who wanted to produce a simple to use auto responder for Beginners – and that is precisely what he has done. The FREE version gives the beginner ‘enough’ usage to get going. When the need arises for ‘more’ space the user has one of two options. IF they are happy with the simple process provided they can upgrade and for less than $10 per month have the ability to handle more lists etc., However, IF the need is to get a bit more fancy with broadcast templates, pop up’s etc., then it is time to upgrade to Aweber via the link above. How can article writing boost traffic and income?
The articles on the content sites contains a link to your own website. Readers, after reading your articles, may choose to click on the link and pay you an unexpected visit. Having them on the content sites is also making these articles available to other webmasters who may wish to publish that article on their site (a good reason to write good articles isn’t it?).
If they do, your article will include a link back to your site. And anyone who reads the article on that site can still click on the link to visit your site.
As the list of your published articles grow larger, and more and more of them are appearing on different websites, the total number of links to your site increases also. Major search engines are placing a lot of significance on incoming links to websites so they can determine the importance of a certain site.
The more incoming links the website has, the more importance search engines attaches to it. This will then increase your website’s placement in the search results.
If your site is promoting a product or service, the links that your articles have achieved will mean more potential customers for you. Even if visitors only browse through, you never know if they might be in need of what you are offering in the future.
There are also those who already have specific things they need on their mind but cannot decide yet between the many choices online. Chances are, they may stumble upon one of your articles, get interested by the content you wrote, go to your site and became enticed by your promotions. See how easy this can be – but you MUST add articles on a regular basis – every few days is a good plan.

This one is probably the one that I follow and use the most. Again, like anything you do online, you MUST takje your time to download the excellent eBook which explains how to get the best out of this system. The owner is also extremely helpful and very approachable. THIS works – and if you are sensible and use it and especially become a paid member you will find that by following the advice you will soon have a downline of your own who are paying your subscription for you. This is an effective list builder too and one of the rare ones where you can use your OWN auto responder to build your OWN list too.
And the second is:
This is quite a comprehensive package and you will need to take time to click your way through the various buttons and options and to learn HOW to use it. There is plenty of help and support here though and I would encourage you to become a member of their Forum – a place to get answers from if you get stuck. Usual warning applies here too – ONLY use the bits YOU need to use to further YOUR business. Pay particular attention to the link where YOU can promote your OWN business links too !! Not to be missed. The more FREE advertising you can get the better.

EITHER of the above two options will give the beginner all the answers along with the support you need. This one will also be the one I would recommend if you are somewhat beyond the beginner stage.
Affiliate Sales – a MUST.
Although this is down at the bottom of the list it is BY NO MEANS the least ‘important’.
INDEED NO – it is NOT
You can begin making ‘affiliate sales’ very quickly. Indeed even before you set up your own Web Site or your own Blog.
How – you may ask? Simply because in the simplest of terms YOU are selling someone elses product/s and YOU will utilise the Web Page/s that THEY provide you with.
There are two snags here though:
- You need to KNOW and fully understand about “Affiliate Marketing
