That’s me – over there on the right – a 72 yr old pensioner who has literally cracked the dilemma faced by the REAL Beginner (regardless of age).

It’s just over 3 years since I set up an online business & at the outset I had very limited knowledge of what running a business on the Internet is all about. My knowledge was based around the ability to write a letter using a Word Document, uploading family photo’s to my computer and quite a good knowledge about ’spreadsheets’. As far as using the Internet is concerned my knowledge was almost ZERO! Yes, of course I could ‘browse’ the Internet and I could send and receive emails – but that was it !!!

Despite the fact that I have had a successful ‘working’ life – and indeed run two successful businesses offline (one in the world of finance & the other in Retail) I literally struggled to get going on line. WHY – because there is almost NOTHING online that takes the beginner from ’scratch’ and literally SHOWS them WHAT to do and HOW to do it.

THAT IS THE REAL BEGINNERS DILEMMA – but – it need NOT be the case any more.

Initially, I too banged my head against the inevitable brick wall and became terribly frustrated, bemused and confused – but I was lucky, I finally found a ‘techie’ who became a good friend but more importantly, lowered himself to MY level and guided me on my way.

Since then I have produced a ‘treble package’ called “Building Blocks for Beginners” (which has recently been updated) and for the past 6 months have been running a LIVE ‘online – Training School’ where the ‘attendees’ sit at their OWN computer, in their home or office, or indeed wherever they wish – and WATCH and LISTEN as I not only SHOW them ‘live’ HOW to do those necessary things but talk them through the process as they watch. It has proved to be extremely effective – AND I have been strongly complimented for the ‘basic’ content that I use.

I KNOW for a fact that I CAN ’show’ you how to produce a single page web site during a “coffee break” and how to produce a multi-page web site in a day or two (or less for the quick learner).

SO – if you asked me WHAT you need to know and do to ‘get started’ as a REAL Beginner this would be my ’starter list’:

1. Get yourself a domain name.
2. Get yourself a hosting package.
3. Get yourself an autoresponder.
4. Get involved in affiliate sales.
5. Get your OWN instant shop full of 200 products which you can sell whilst you learn.
6. Get involved in a recommended FREE automated Traffic System -

(and of course, you will probably need help AND to be ’shown’ how and what to do with the above – I can of course help, advise and SHOW you how to do all of the above)

THEN – learn:

1. How to set up your OWN Internet Business on line.
2. How to create and build your OWN websites, splash pages, landing pages etc.,
3. How to set up and run your very OWN Blog
4. Learn how to optimise both using SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
5. Learn how to ’sell’ online.

AND MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL – Find someone YOU can ‘work with’ to cover all of the above – people who will REALLY help YOU as a beginner and will not fill you full of ‘waffle’ and keep on trying to sell you something (and dare I say, that does NOT need to be a ‘high profile’ name or a ’so’ called Guru’ either – most of what I have learned has been from ordinary people, just like me, people you will probably never have heard of – but oh! boy – they are prepared to help anyone!).

I recommend that you also consider JOINING a couple of great forums which will back up the above and ‘help’ you grow YOUR business.
